Our Story

Caffe Stellato, a family-owned destination that has been delighting customers since 2022, offering up to 60 unique flavors of handcrafted Italian artisanal gelato, including sorbets and dairy-free options made with oat milk. In addition to gelato, we serve fresh Italian specialty sandwiches made with imported meats and cheeses, along with high-quality breads like Ciabatta and Sourdough. Our menu also features freshly brewed Italian coffee, Italian desserts, cannolis, and a variety of imported candies and chocolates. With three locations in Burlingame, Palo Alto, and Redwood City, Caffe Stellato invites everyone to experience their delicious offerings in a family-friendly atmosphere.

We just got back from Rome and were hanging for gelato. Quick search of Yelp and a random pick close to our destination brought up Caffe Stellato. Oh my goodness! Over 60 choices? It's all too much. We chose two kinds and got a scoop each. Staff was so nice and attentive. The place is clean and beautifully presented. Gelato was amazing! Just go!

Good gelato, variety of flavors, and great service.

I love that this place is open sort of late, so you can come get your gelato fix up to 11pm.

There were so many flavors to choose from, but even after checking out their Yelp page beforehand, I was coming for the black cherry - which did not disappoint.

The guy behind the counter was very helpful, and let us try the flavors we wanted.
